A UK leader in the distribution of electrical supplies
Moss Electrical has been running a successful electrical wholesaling business since 1992. It gives us all great pleasure to announce that our very own Denise Field has accepted the position of Sales Director of Moss and joins the Board of Directors with immediate effect.
Denise has been a valuable member of the team since joining the company fourteen years ago, and her success within the industry is renowned.
During those 14 years, Denise has developed into the dynamic personality who we all know and respect. Her dedication to her role has been exemplary and she has learned much in the commercial world of Moss. It has not been a one-way learning curve, because we have learnt much from her too.
I believe that Denise is now ready to take on this demanding role and this appointment will secure and benefit an even better management team.
Additionally, Stefan Kemp has been rewarded with a change of role and is now promoted to Business Development Director.
Stefan, like Denise, has shown tremendous growth within his previous role and we are all confident that he will excel with his additional responsibilities.

Ahead of this year’s Electrical Industry Awards, companies from up and down the country submitted their entries in the hope to have a chance of winning up to 13 of the 14 awards up for grabs. A record number of more than 100 separate companies submitted their applications, and weeks later, after intense judging, the shortlist of finalists has been decided and once again Moss Electrical has been shortlisted.
The Moss Team are invited to an exclusive awards ceremony with the winners to be announced at the black tie, gala dinner taking place at London’s prestigious Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington on 24 October.
Rodney Jack, editor of Electrical Times, said, “My thanks to all those who entered. My special thanks to our judges who, as per every year, put in a lot of effort, let alone their own time, to mark the entries with integrity. Once again, the quality and diversity of companies that have submitted entries to the Electrical Industry Awards has been outstanding.
"Each year, we get another snap-shot of the wealth of talent operating within the electrical trade. The fact that we have received a record number of entries bodes well for the trade, with plenty of businesses wanting to promote the great work they are undertaking. Reassuringly for the industry at large, there is a wide range of sectors listed as finalists, demonstrating the electrical industry's capacity to innovate.
“When Electrical Times launched these awards, we set out to show just how much good work is being done in the electrical space, and, to match that, we wanted these awards to be thorough, fair and, above all, independent. These awards really set the gold standard and our awards ceremony will certainly be a night to remember.”
The Electrical Industry Awards 2012 has announced its finalists for this year's awards for excellence in the electrical wholesaling industry and once again Moss Electrical has been shortlisted for Wholesaler of the Year – Turnover in excess of £20 million.
The Electrical Industry Awards 2012 will be held on Thursday 25 October 2012 at The Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington, London, where the winners across 14 categories will be announced.
“The number of entries was impressive,” announced Rodney Jack, editor of Electrical Times. I know from adjudicating that with so many quality entrants this year it was difficult for the judges to make a decision.
“These awards celebrate those companies who have been leading the way. They really do represent the best of the best and to be shortlisted is to be congratulated.
"The shortlist contains recognisable names and brands alongside some less well-known, but equally successful, companies across the length and breadth of the UK. We look forward to highlighting their success and demonstrating the talent and innovation in the electrical sector."
